THE ROLE
As a Design Engineer, you'll be at the core of the business, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop precision-engineered products. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
Developing product designs from customer specifications to finished solutions.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and certification bodies (Lloyds, DNV, ABS).
Supporting manufacturing by ensuring designs are optimised for fabrication.
Ensuring designs meet ISO9001 quality standards and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a technically strong and ambitious Design Engineer who's eager to take the next step in their career. You should have:
Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and technical drawing.
A background in design for manufacture (fabrication, precision engineering, or related fields).
Knowledge of steel materials and fabrication processes.
An analytical and logical approach to problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Any exposure to marine, offshore, or defence industries is highly desirable.
