Reporting to the Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for the safe and proficient operation of equipment associated with maintaining site services and miscellaneous earth-moving projects
2. Operating various heavy duty equipment for earth-moving projects including haul truck, loader, excavator, and dozer
3. Operating various light and medium duty equipment in the performance of general site services duties including gravel truck, vacuum truck, water truck, backhoe, bobcat, semi-tractor, forklift, grader, and bus
4. Performing manual labour to support operations and maintenance activities, such as clean-up, hauling and stacking materials, and assisting skilled or semi-skilled crafts in the performance of their tasks
5. Other duties and assignments as required by the Department and assigned by the Services Supervisor
6. Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
7. Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Skills and Qualifications we’re seeking:
1. Must have at least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation that closely aligns with the equipment listed
2. Industrial facility maintenance experience is an asset
3. Must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision
4. Able to perform all labour requirements associated with general site maintenance and construction activities
5. Able to follow work schedules and daily job assignments in an effective manner
6. Must have good communication skills and be able to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
7. Preference will be given to RSN candidates and previous McClean Lake Mine Department employees
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake Mine site
· 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
