If so, we’d love to hear from you Our client, based in the beautiful Croft-on-Tees area, is looking to welcome a new member to their small and friendly accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, all-round accounts position with a good mix of responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the sales ledger and raising sales invoices Handling the purchase ledger, processing invoices, and arranging BACS payments to suppliers Performing bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets Carrying out credit control Running payroll and arranging NEST pension contributions Communicating with customers and suppliers Supporting the external accountants at month-end and year-end What we’re looking for: Proven experience using Sage Strong working knowledge of Excel Excellent communication skills A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach AAT Level 4 qualification is desirable, but not essential A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (due to office location) This role offers a great balance of autonomy and team collaboration in a supportive and professional environment.
