Benefits: Competitive Salary – £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE) Uncapped Overtime – Earn extra with generous overtime rates Company Van – With private use included Income Protection & Death in Service – Peace of mind for you and your family 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays – Enjoy a great work-life balance Sick Pay & Salary Sacrifice Pension – We invest in your future Employee Assistance Program & Online Discounts – Support for you inside and outside work Birthday Voucher – Celebrate your special day with a gift from us Lunch Allowance, Clothing Allowance & Tool Allowance – We cover your essential expenses Night Out & Project Overnight Bonuses – Additional rewards for travel and overnight stays Your Role & Responsibilities As a Gate & Barrier Installation Engineer (Projects), you will be responsible for: · Installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting a range of automated gates, barriers, bollards, turnstiles, and access control systems on large-scale projects. · Working on a variety of sites across the UK, including commercial, industrial, and public sector locations. · Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards, following DHF, EN16005, and health & safety regulations. · Fault-finding and problem-solving to ensure systems are installed and commissioned correctly. · Liaising with project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery of installations. · Conducting site surveys and risk assessments before installations. · Providing training and guidance to customers on system operation. · Occasionally assisting with servicing and maintenance when required. · Completing all necessary paperwork and reporting on job progress and completion. What We’re Looking For Experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining automated gates and barriers – Essential Knowledge of access control systems, intercoms, and associated electrical work – Preferred Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings IPAF, CSCS, DHF, or EN16005 certifications – Highly desirable Full UK driving license – Essential Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required Why This Role?
