UK Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Reporting to the UK Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planning Specialist will manage all logistics flows and related tasks to support the company's commercial network, optimize working capital for hearing aids and other products, and partner with the Corporate Supply Chain team.
This is a hybrid working position with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the Support Office at Gatewayhouse, Styal Road.
Key responsibilities
* Direct and coordinate the supply chain function, shaping the strategy, optimizing processes and flows to maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring cost-effectiveness and end-to-end stock management.
* Work with the Global Supply Chain Team and the UK team to drive transformation and evolution of the function.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across Amplifon Group to ensure the best local and global agreements are in place.
* Establish and build relationships with external suppliers like logistics operators; set up governance models and routines to drive best-in-class operations and results.
* Guide and execute Sales and Operations Planning in the country, incorporating market trends and uplifts in forecasting, creating awareness on inventory and supply across all levels.
* Analyze and forecast future product demands in line with global guidelines, working with marketing, sales, retail operations, BI, and finance teams.
* Identify and implement stock policies to ensure rotation, optimize working capital, and maximize service levels, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Manage the return process, aiming for sustainability and minimal waste, while keeping operations smooth.
* Provide periodic analyses and reporting on inventory performance and stock trends.
* Control and improve logistic flows; identify system and process weaknesses and suggest optimizations.
* Work with warehouse specialists to ensure optimal stock ordering based on demand.
* Execute supply chain best practices and measure performance using KPIs.
* Ensure logistics activities are timely and cost-effective.
* Contribute to global supply chain savings targets by reducing costs related to obsolescence, logistics, and penalties.
* Collaborate with finance for stock reconciliation and inventory management.
Ideal experience
* Supply Chain Management qualification or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, logistics, or related fields.
* Proactivity and critical thinking.
* Effective team worker with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
