We are looking for an exceptional candidate for this Lead Operational Nurse post within Health and Social Care Moray. This post will be clinically responsible for the Community Nursing services which includes Community Nursing, Immunisation Team, Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC), Nurse Practitioners and Specialist Nurses. The post holder also is the clinical lead for Home First and patient flow.
This 37 hour per week post is being offered on a permanent basis.
Health and Social Care Moray (HSCM) provides and manages Health and Social Care services and influences the health and wellbeing of the population of Moray, delivering this through a management structure providing and developing health and social care services in partnership with staff.
The Lead Operational Nurse will be responsible for the professional & operational management of community nursing services within the Partnership. This leadership includes all aspects of staff management, to ensure service delivery and development.
The post holder is responsible for and facilitates the professional development of relevant nurse disciplines, liaising with all relevant agencies, both locally and nationally, to ensure the smooth operation of the joint working arrangements across Health and Social Care Moray.
This role leads and facilitates the development of integrated team working by enabling, supporting and empowering front line staff to enhance their skills and contribution within the Partnership, whilst ensuring that effective and safe quality of care is delivered. The Lead Operational Nurse will be required to demonstrate a commitment to quality of service through continuous improvement.
This post is a dynamic and evolving role, in response to the needs of the Partnership.
The Lead Operational Nurse will work closely with GP practices and the multi-disciplinary and community teams within the localities to ensure the population needs are met, ensuring good relationships and that consideration is given to the wider impact of changes in services.
There is a requirement that the successful candidate possesses a sound clinical background, demonstrating a wide range of clinical skills and a person centred approach to care.
You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient in developing close working relationships and effective communication with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and agencies.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and opportunities for training and development will be supported.
