As our office continues to grow, we are looking for supervisors to join our general practice team.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing audits, including planning, execution, and finalisation of jobs.
* Delivering complete audit files for manager review.
* Supervising the fieldwork of audit teams, reviewing junior team members' work, and providing guidance on technical accounting and audit matters.
* Ensuring compliance with primary accounting frameworks (e.g.UK GAAP, FRS 101, FRS 102, IFRS).
* Drafting recommendations for management improvements based on audit findings.
* Preparing tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
* Preparing statutory accounts and consolidated accounts for various entities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
* Maintaining close liaison with clients and stakeholders, including direct contact with senior management.
* Motivating and encouraging team members to achieve high performance.
* Providing a professional, efficient, and personal service to clients.
* Assisting with internal training and development of junior staff.
* Engaging in special projects as needed, such as company valuations and HMRC investigations.
* Supporting practice development by identifying business development opportunities and attending client gatherings.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Qualified in ACA/ACCA or an equivalent internationally recognized chartered accounting qualification.
* Technical proficiency in relevant accounting and auditing standards.
* High level of personal motivation and initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
