Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Patient Systems team where the prime responsibility will be providing customer support to users of multiple systems used throughout the Trust.
The role will require understanding of Trust processes and workflows as it incorporates responsibility for ensuring that system data reference files, system upgrades, general system maintenance is managed effectively and in a timely manner.
The role will be based at Royal Derby Hospital but may involve travel to other locations within the Trust.
Main duties of the job
The role will require understanding of Trust processes and workflows as it incorporates responsibility for ensuring that system data reference files, system upgrades, general system maintenance is managed effectively and in a timely manner.
You will also provide excellent IT support and training for users with system changes or for staff new to the Trust.
You will require the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, hence excellent time management skills are essential.
You will also be expected to work as part of a team but equally to work independently to support the needs of the service.
The service currently provides 24/7 support so some out of hours work will be required on an on-call basis.
