About the job:
We're looking for a Head of Global Deployments to join our team, based in the UK but with a focus on heading up our international deployments. This is a key role within the business and will require an individual who is able to travel.
Your Role:
We are seeking a hard working, tenacious individual to oversee our global deployments. In a short space of time we have signed contracts with some of the world’s largest venues and event operators. These deals mean that we are rolling out our product across EMEA, US, APAC and more.
You will be working closely with our COO and you will be responsible for building a global deployment team, planning successful logistics and installations of our solution across venues and events from start to finish. This role requires someone with exceptional organisational and management skills as you will be working closely with and managing a large delivery team.
This role will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and manage our global implementation team
* Plan logistics and instals ensuring smooth and on time delivery to venues and events
* Leading your event/operations team using the team priorities, critical metrics/procedures, and team objectives that provide a means to measure successful implementation.
* Creating the team strategy & priorities for the coming months and where new events are added, aiding workload and capacity.
* Create and manage operational budgets for efficient and profitable on budget deployments and installations
* Maintain excellent relationships with clients and partners
* Work closely with compliance to ensure all certificates, accreditation, safety etc are organised for the relevant market
* Work closely with the design and build team ensuring plans are agreed and finalised
* Work closely with the tech team to ensure successful implementation of the Boxbar solution at events and compatibility with our client tech stacks.
* Work with the partners to ensure successful implementation of their products and solutions.
* Support with supplier relationships, sales reporting to Directors, monitoring sales overhead and costs.
* Managing and maintaining our CRM system ensuring smooth operations at venues and events
* Maintain knowledge of the self-serve ecosystem with regards to products and service providers
* On-site operational support from time-to-time period, including direct liaison with clients and partners.
Requirements:
* Experience within Global planning and logistics either within a technology business or with beer/drink dispense. Ideally in the live music, festivals, events, travel, leisure, hospitality, sports or tourism industry.
* Minimum 8 years experience in Global planning and logistics
* Exceptional numerate and communication skills, a confident telephone manner with experience in face-to-face meetings
* Have a comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle including lead generating, negotiations skills and closing
* Excellent understanding of technology systems
* Demonstrate an ability to manage projects, budget, focus on achieving objectives, adjust priorities, manage time and follow up on actions
* Show an ability to work autonomously and be able to take responsibility beyond scope of role
* Actively look for new solutions and create new ideas regarding the on-going commercial development.
* Be aware of and take responsibility for implications of decisions
* Have the ability to cope in a high-pressure environment
