Front of House Event Manager – Full-Time Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire
We’re looking for someone exceptional to play a central role in the rapid expansion of The English Indian. If you thrive in a role that blends client interaction, operational management, and behind-the-scenes coordination, this position is for you!
The English Indian is known for multi-award-winning Indian style fish and chips and a reputation as one of the most desirable Corporate and Wedding street food operators across the Midlands.

We're a small, caring, and friendly team, with huge ambition, drive, and focus, and we're expanding fast, thanks to an enlarged team and new Marketing & Sales strategies. But we can’t do it alone anymore. We need fresh energy, bold ideas, and someone ready to make an impact.

The role provides a dynamic mix of Event Days and Office-Based Days, each bringing its own set of responsibilities and opportunities.
The below are examples of what you’ll find yourself responsible for. They aren’t checklists for a single day, but a representation of the responsibilities that will come up as part of your role.
Event Days
These days are hands-on, fast-paced, and client-focused. Whether supporting monthly pop-up events or private functions, your responsibilities may include:
* Conducting staff briefings and training
* Managing front-of-house (FOH) operations
* Liaising with clients to ensure smooth service
* Hosting clients and discussing potential bookings
* Writing up event job sheets
Office-Based Days
These days focus on planning, coordination, and business development and may include:
* Attending weekly management meetings
* Calling clients for feedback and re-booking
* Assistance with Marketing/Sales Campaigns
* Wedding and Corporate client liaison pre and post event
* Attending staff training at Entrepreneurs Circle’s state-of-the-art HQ in Solihull
* Accompanying the Commercial Director to events and exhibitions
* Arranging and attending meetings at client sites and venues
This balance of hands-on event work and strategic office planning ensures every day is engaging and varied. If you thrive in a role that blends client interaction, operational management, and behind-the-scenes coordination, this position is for you!
The perfect candidate will tick the boxes below:
* You’ll have an Event Management degree or equivalent
* You’ll be driven to progress quickly
* You’ll have experience of organising events
* You’ll be proficient in Excel
* You’ll be able to schedule and prioritise tasks
* You’ll be a bit of a systems and processes geek
* You’ll love meeting new people
