Mental Health Support Worker - Female only

Claimont Health is hiring! We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Mental Health Support Workers who have experience working with individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) & Eating Disorder. You will need to be able to provide all round support at the individuals home join our team (day and night post available) on a Zero hour or Permanent contractual basis.
This role will be for support workers to work in the community, supporting a client with a bespoke package of care on a 2.1 bases that will be overseen by an RMN.
Successful applicant will:
1. Provide day to day support for a client in their home environment.
2. Support client in all aspects of day to day life (cleaning, meaningful activities, mental health support).
3. Encourage and promote independence.
4. Monitor the client's mental health and physical health and report concerns to senior team members.
5. Follow care plans and risk assessment.
6. Support client into their local community and with local activities.
7. Update care records and monitor clients overall wellbeing.
8. Promote dignity at all times.
9. Support with medication compliance.
10. Support the RMN with crisis support for the client (where appropriate).
What do we need from you?
1. Female staff members only
2. At least 2 years experience within mental health settings.
3. Desired for staff members to have experience working with complex trauma, high risk patients (self-harm) and experience of supporting a complex dual diagnosis namely, Eating Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).
4. Vast experience of supporting clients in the following areas: in a supported accommodation/home environment type setting that present with complex mental health and physical health needs.
5. An understanding of the MHA and legal frameworks.
6. Experience of working with Multi agencies.
7. Experience of working with clients with complex trauma, physical health.
8. Willing to undertake company training specific for this client.
9. The ability to document to high standards.
10. Be resilient and proactive.
11. Have the ability to empower the service user.
12. Kind, caring and compassionate.
