¨ The Role: Business Development Manager (UKI-Markets)
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the UKI markets (United-Kingdom & Ireland). As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to expand our presence and notoriety in these key regions.
¨ Key Responsibilities :
* Market Strategy & Expansion : Develop and execute business development strategies to grow our presence & notoriety in the UKI- markets, prospecting and turning suspects into prospects, and prospects into clients.
* Client Relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects & suspects (tour operators, travel agents and incentive houses in your regions).
* Sales Growth: Identify new sales opportunities, lead negotiations, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
* Market Research : Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Partnership Development : Forge strategic partnerships with local and international stakeholders to enhance our offerings and market reach.
* Team Collaboration : Work closely with our Sales, Marketing and Product teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all channels.
* Representation : Represent Easia Travel at industry events, trade shows, sales calls, roadshows and client meetings in the UKI-Markets to increase business and notoriety
* Reporting & performances follow-up : Provide regular reports on market situation, sales performance, and strategic initiatives to top management.
¨ What We’re Looking For :
Hard Skills:
* Background : You have a higher education background in tourism and/or sales (minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
* Experience : Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
* Destinations expertise : Ideally, you are familiar with our destinations, either through promoting or selling them previously or having visited them personally.
* Market Intelligence : Strong knowledge and understanding of the UKI tourism markets, key players and distribution networks, with an established network in the travel industry.
* Sales Expertise : Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets in competitive markets.
* Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with a focus on long-term market growth & potential business evaluation
* Language Skills : Native English-speaking is a must
* Technical Skills : Tech-orientation and strong skills in Microsoft pack office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
* Proactivity : A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
* Persuasion : strong persuasive skills, with the ability to convince and inspire clients, partners, and stakeholders. We are looking for a true "hunter" with a relentless drive to seek out and close new business opportunities.
* Passion for Travel : A genuine passion for travel and a deep appreciation for Southeast Asian culture.
* International Scope : You thrive in a multicultural environment, with a genuine interest in and ability to adapt to different cultures.
* Relationship Building : Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
