NRSWA Site Supervisor - Fibre / Telecoms Job Description A Security Cleared NRSWA Site Supervisor with a background in Fibre rollout within the Telecoms industry is required. The NRSWA Site Supervisor will inspect and report on the quality compliance of onsite works undertaken by third-party subcontractors and legislative SHEQ standards. Responsibilities Undertake quality inspection activities on both in-progress and completed works, checking and reporting on compliance against the agreed scope, specification, and budget. Produce site reports for the Delivery Manager following attendance at sites to ensure delivery to SLA and provide customer updates. Review escalated orders to support planners on delivery dependencies and assist with alternative solutions where required. Review traffic management requirements and build issues, meeting suppliers on-site where necessary. Prevent and correct immediate HS&E issues identified on-site in support of the H&S Regional Leads and Supplier HSE Teams. Report HS&E non-compliance to the H&S Regional Leads and provide support to aid resolution if required. Report non-compliance of the competence and qualifications of those undertaking the works to Regional H&S Lead and Suppliers HS&E Lead. Drive best practices and supplier performance through the ownership and management of rectification of non-compliant works found during audits. Analyse wider compliance reports to identify shortfalls and improvements required in the quality of delivery in the Region. Support delivery and service restoration through consultation with the Assure Team and Suppliers and attend sites where needed to ensure the speedy restoration of the Network whilst ensuring quality compliance is met. Collate evidence of third parties where applicable. Support assessment of new technologies in the fibre network as identified by the Standards and Solutions Team. Facilitate training of suppliers and internal teams to improve performance or in support of new technologies. Essential Skills Site management experience CDM (Construction Design and Management) NRSWA Supervisor certification Experience in Fibre, Telecoms IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Experience with FTTP (Fibre to the Premises), FTTH (Fibre to the Home), FTTX (Fibre to the X), and FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) Must have skills and qualifications Current SC Clearance NRSWA Supervisor certification or NEBOSH (equivalent H&S certification) Fibre experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Elgin, United Kingdom.
