Our Care Service are rated as good by the Care Quality Commission and carers and the people they care for, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For some carers good quality home care and or a break is what they need, to let them have time for themselves and their wider family.
The Role

• Lead and develop the team, setting an open culture where people are open to change, learn from mistakes and develop their skills.
• Use systems and data to plan and implement effective ways to continually increase the financial sustainability of the service.
• Be creative in recruiting and selecting staff for care services ensuring carers are included in the process.
• Be able to present the benefits of the service to a wide range of people including health and social care professionals and carers, taking note of any obstacles to them using our services and working to remove them.
• Be a proactive member of the management team of Carers in Hertfordshire, to make sure that all the services work together to provide the best possible support for carers.
• Cover on call out of hours as and when required.
