Five Acre Wood is a successful outward looking and expanding Special School based over 3 sites in and around Maidstone, Kent. We are one of the largest special schools in the country with over 850 pupils on roll aged 2-19 years with profound, severe and complex needs.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and successful SEN teacher who enjoys team working and taking responsibility. Candidates must have experience acting as a learning approach lead to deliver a good quality curriculum and maintain an overview across the phase to ensure consistency in planning, progression, and assessment. Candidates will also be responsible for formulating and updating policy guidelines to ensure curriculum requirements are implemented for all students and contributing to strategic school improvement programmes.
