The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who will be responsible for leading and maintaining the Healthcare Quality Management System (QMS) at the clinics and satellites, and implementing the system to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of the service provided in accordance with the conditions of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) and Care Quality Commission (CQC) licence and registration. These conditions must also comply with the guidance on good practice as set out in the HFEA’s Code of Practice, CQC guidance and all relevant clinical and laboratory directives.
This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week - The fixed term contract will run from May to December 2025.
The Location:
Thames Valley Fertility (TVF) was established in 2017, and due to the passion, expertise and reputation of our team, has already grown into a leading fertility clinic. Providing treatment to both NHS and private patients, TVF performs approximately 400 fresh cycles and 400 frozen cycles per year. Offering a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, including PGT. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Maidenhead, adjacent to junction 8/9 of the M4, there is ample free parking for staff and patients at the front of the building.
Key Responsibilities:
The role includes responsibility for management of all incidents, non-conformances, complaints, user satisfaction review, internal and external auditing, monitoring, evaluation and continual improvement.
1. Establishing and managing quality, risk and governance strategies within the clinic and its satellites
2. Maintaining the HFEA licence and CQC registration
3. Developing and monitoring the quality policy, quality objectives and quality indicators
4. Internal and external auditing, user satisfaction and complaints management
5. Incident management: investigation, corrective and preventative actions
6. Training, communicating, monitoring and motivating all staff to support the QMS
Qualifications and Training:
1. Degree or equivalent post graduate diploma and/or experience
2. Recognised management qualification and/or healthcare experience
3. Experience of using and managing Quality Management Systems and Risk Management processes and practice, including risk assessment and incident investigation
4. Experience of managing complaints
5. Experience of developing policies and procedures
6. Experience of project management
7. Experience of working within a complex organisational environment
