Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a background in building services and maintenance? We are looking for a Project Planner / Project Coordinator (PPM) to support our Service Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance teams. This key role involves overseeing scheduling, health & safety compliance, stock management, and operational coordination to ensure seamless service delivery.

The Role
As a Project Planner / Project Coordinator (PPM), you will play a crucial role in supporting our maintenance teams by managing operational planning, stock control, compliance, and resource coordination. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and managers to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) works to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure resources, materials, and equipment are available.
• Manage health & safety compliance, ensuring all risk assessments, method statements, and permits are in place.
• Oversee stock levels, ensuring necessary materials and equipment are available for maintenance teams.
• Ensure company vans are stocked, maintained, and in compliance with fleet policies.
• Process timesheets, job reports, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor work progress, providing updates to the Operations Manager and Head of Maintenance.
• Support financial tracking and cost control within the department.
Requirements:
• Building Services Experience – A background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, or security systems is highly desirable.
• HNC (or equivalent) in Building Services, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a planning, coordination, or PPM role within service maintenance or reactive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance within the building services industry.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in job management software, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
