This is an opportunity to join the Social Care & Education Application Support Team as an Application Support Officer. We provide application support to ICT systems used by Social Care and Education services which currently includes Liquidlogic (System C) LCS/EHM/EYES/LAS/ContrOCC.
This role is on a fixed term contract specifically working with Adult Social Care systems, to support the Target Operating Model Project. Knowledge and experience of System C LAS system is essential.
This position is open to office and home working. When service needs arise, you will be expected to work in City Hall as required.
We support system user queries, investigate, and resolve system issues and work with end users to improve data quality. We support system development and test system upgrades following established internal processes.
The team are continually looking to improve and make the applications we support more efficient and usable wherever possible.
What will you be doing?
This role is varied providing support to LAS users on the Helpdesk as well as supporting the application development work such as form changes, workflow changes to support the Target Operating Model project. You will be involved in the development of the LAS system to support new business processes. Additionally, you will participate in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Application Support, procedures, and standards.
You will be working in a supportive team, where teamwork is an important part of the role as is attention to detail, stakeholder and customer communication. You will need to have good communication and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise a variety of incoming tasks whilst managing a busy workload.
