Project Manager - Anaerobic Digestion
Salary: £60,000

Alecto Recruitment are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of new build Biomethane Greenfield Projects and modification projects to existing operational facilities, ensuring they are delivered to SHE, cost, programme schedule, and quality targets.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute project plans as part of the project strategy, achieving specific goals.
2. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from transition from Business Development through to handover to the Operation and Maintenance team.
3. Offer technical guidance, acknowledging that the engineering department holds ultimate technical responsibility.
4. Quickly escalate any risks or issues that could impact project outcomes.
5. Generate resource plans and collaborate with the Head of Projects to address resource challenges.
6. Sustain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors to enhance collaboration.
7. Ensure the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance standards are met for all assigned projects.
8. Coordinate training sessions specific to the project for team members, suppliers, and contractors.
9. Maintain high standards in project reporting and the issuance of progress certificates, ensuring both quality and timeliness.
Degree and Experience:
1. University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
2. Experience leading construction activities of industrial projects (bioenergy, energy, chemicals, water/waste treatment) in an EPC or construction organisation, with at least three years based on Site.
3. Good understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
4. Experience coordinating multicultural teams, with preferably at least one period living abroad.
5. HSE and QA/QC training or experience.
