About the Role:
This role will focus on overseeing the successful execution of infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements while driving efficiency and high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
* Manage project planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and financial controls.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
* Provide regular progress reports and liaise with key stakeholders, including Thames Water and regulatory bodies.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks while maintaining project quality and performance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the water, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and project governance within regulated industries.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with water utilities or similar clients.
* Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate contractors effectively.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, ensuring project viability and cost control.
