Barnardo's receives donations of a variety of items which we sell in our Superstores. We are looking for a visual merchandiser volunteer to support with creating eye-catching shelves and window displays. The role would be a great fit for someone who has a real passion for fashion, an eye for detail, and understands basic principles of visual merchandising. Your role is to create amazing displays which will make Barnardo's stand out on the high street and encourage members of the public to come into our stores. It would be great if you could volunteer one shift a week (or even more if you want), but we’re always happy to be flexible to work around your availability.
Tasks:
* Creating eye-catching window displays.
* Merchandising shelves and dressing mannequins.
* Ensuring branding/marketing guidelines are met within the store.
* Preparing items for sale, including ensuring pricing is correct and visible.
* Supporting with any marketing campaigns in the store.
Skills:
* Passion for fashion.
* Eye for detail.
* Knowledge/experience of visual merchandising principles.
* Friendly and helpful.
* Enthusiastic about the work of Barnardo’s.
* Flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks.
