As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our new Acorn Education school - Manor Wood School.
To provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.
To comply with good safeguarding procedures and principles as detailed by the local safeguarding board
To act as overall curriculum coordinator and manager across the school
To work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team which encompasses education, residential care and the clinical team
Relevant experience of teaching pupils with Autistic spectrum condition and/or challenging behaviours
Relevant experience of teaching pupils with complex needs
Degree and QTS
Our New Acorn School – Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth - will have capacity for 80 pupils and is due to open May 2025. We're recruiting for a Headteacher to help set up and grow our new school. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.
