Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Hybrid (Reading / Remote)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager who not only possesses technical skills but also excels in communicating insights with a commercial mindset. The role is pivotal in driving data driven strategies and solutions that align with our business goals, ensuring that every decision is informed by accurate and actionable insights.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Lead, mentor, and develop the BI team
Proactively design scalable BI solutions, meeting evolving business needs of key stakeholders and the wider business using tools like Azure Data Factory for ETL, OLAP and Power BI.
Support in the gathering of stakeholder requirements and create structured, scalable, and re-usable reports
Present data analysis and insights clearly to various stakeholders
Promote best practices for effective data sharing and consumption
Support the Head of Operations in analysing existing processes and proposing innovative solutions.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust governance and quality assurance.
Maintain professional documentation for projects and deliverables.
Manage multiple BI projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery while assisting the Head of Operations in effective prioritisation.
Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies to enhance organisational capabilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Comprehensive and demonstratable knowledge, and use of BI, data analytics, Microsoft Azure including Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database
Knowledge and experience using and administering MS Dynamics Finance and Operations and Customer Engagement in relation to database integrations
Proven SQL and relational database skills, understanding of the various infrastructure implementations and the ability to write, execute and interpret complex queries.
Deep understanding and experience of data warehousing, data modelling concept and building new data tables. CI/CD toolsets and source control (GIT/Azure Devops)
Excellent attention to detail when considering design, proposal, and documentation skills for solutions, which can be understood at various stakeholder levels by adapting and creating solutions as required.
Experience and proven record in driving automation and self-service for reporting, dashboarding and consumption working with large transactional data volumes.
Additional experience with the following is beneficial:
