Job title: Service Charge Ledger Supervisor
Location: Office-based inRingwood
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, 9am-5.30pm, Monday-Thursday & 9am-5pm on Friday.
About the role
It’s exciting and busy times at Churchill Estates Management (CEM) and we are currently recruiting for a Service Charge Ledger Supervisor within the Accounts & Finance Department. Based at our Head Office in Ringwood, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
The Service Charge Ledger Supervisor manages a small team to deliver daily invoice processing, weekly payment runs in line with payment schedules and manage any ad hoc tasks, such as updating supplier bank details. You will ensure that demands for leasehold Service Charges and Ground Rent are raised as per budget and issued in a timely manner in line with company procedure, ensuring that all Direct Debit Mandates are processed in accordance with Direct Debit legislation. You will oversee the daily transactions carried out by the Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerks and the debt recovery procedures of the Credit Controller.
About you
We’re looking for a customer-focused, confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, who is self-motivated and able to thrive in a collaborative and busy environment. You will demonstrate previous experience in a supervisory capacity or team-leader role.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be dealing with large amounts of numerical data. You will have experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
You’ll be educated to GCSE level C / 5 minimum or equivalent in Maths and English Language.
Previous experience of Qube Property Management System would be an advantage.
