CLASS 2 DRIVER MONDAY - FRIDAY START TIMES: 06.00 - MINIMUM OF EIGHT HOURS PER DAY £14.50 - £15.00 PER HOUR PAYE People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Greenock. Benefits As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rate - PAYE vacancy so holidays accrued separately Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Can accept newly passed drivers Training Provided Immediate Starts Company discounts after qualifying period Staff canteen Site parking Rates of Pay: Basic: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour PAYE Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Wil involve some handball Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C Licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Be responsible for the delivery of kitchen and bedroom products to customers homes. You will have a Driver's Mate to assist Load and unload vehicle with the assistance of a Drivers Mate Carry out pre & post journey checks Ensure timely delivery to customers Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Experience delivering large or bulky goods would be beneficial Good customer service skills as this is a customer facing role Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Driver's Assessment will have to be completed After successful Assessment, there will be paid training alongside an experienced crew member Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more ADZN1_UKTJ
