With 16 production sites and 9 R&D centers, we support over 1,500 customers worldwide Reference 2025-1471 Job Family / Sub-family Industrial - Production Contract type Apprentice Contract duration (Months) 36 Job title Production Technician Apprentice M/F/D Position Context: As a Process Industry Manufacturing Technician Apprentice you will be working in a busy control room environment with a highly experienced team of Process Operators. You will be employed directly by Seqens under a maximum 36-month apprenticeship agreement, following the Process Industry Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard. Main tasks : Your training plan will include a mixture of internal and external training, and will include a L3 Diploma in Process Technology qualification or equivalent. You will also be mentored by a senior member of the team. You can expect to: · Independently and within a team start-up, operate and shut-down a manufacturing batch or continuous process in line with Standard Operating Procedures · Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems · Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems · Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, improvements and maintenance · Have outstanding approach to personal safety as well as the safety of others Required skills : Requirements: · Must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade 4 or above including Maths, English and Science · Must be eligible to work in the UK · Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Word and Excel · Enjoys practical and hands-on approach to work At Seqens Custom Specialties, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
