We have an exciting new opportunity for a Director of Finance Transformationto join our Finance team within our Nottingham office on a 9-month fixed term contract.
The role
The Director of Finance Transformation will play a crucial role in leading and managing finance transformation initiatives and key projects within the organisation.
This role is responsible for driving strategic financial improvements, optimizing processes, and ensuring the successful execution of financial projects aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Duties and responsibilities
* Lead and oversee finance transformation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
* Develop and implement strategies to streamline financial processes and systems.
* Manage and execute key financial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for financial improvements and implement best practices.
* Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Monitor and report on the progress of finance transformation initiatives and projects to senior management.
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial projects and transformations.
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in finance and technology to drive continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification and experience i.e. ACCA/ACA/CIMA with proven post qualification experience.
* Demonstrable experience in finance, with a focus on finance transformations and project management.
* Proven track record of leading and executing finance transformation initiatives and projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive change.
* Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a strong understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a changing environment.
* Strong commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
