Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, Greater London, London Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Create individualised learning plans to accommodate the specific needs of each student. Deliver engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Required Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification. Specialist training or experience in supporting students with SEN. Up-to-date knowledge of SEN policies and best practises. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Experience: Prior experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and strategies to support them. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Organisational skills to track student progress and adjust plans accordingly. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs. Experience using assistive technology in the classroom. Working Conditions: Part-time hours, typically during school hours. Work primarily in school settings or educational institutions.
