Job overview

The communications and engagement team organises a range of high-profile, Trust-wide events designed to recognise the contribution of staff and partners, share best-practice, and encourage learning and improvement.
The Events Administrator will play a key role in supporting the successful production of these events, provide important administrative support to the communications and engagement team and be responsible for inbox monitoring.
Working closely with colleagues within the team, across the organisation as well as with the trust’s charity, the Events Officer will help ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget and meet the specified objectives.
Main duties of the job
* Provide administration support for the efficient management of high-profile events including the staff awards programmes and annual staff conference
* Keep clear and accurate financial records of all associated income and expenditure, as detailed in the event business plans
* Liaise with key partners and stakeholders, including My University Hospitals Sussex
* Monitor and manage the events email inbox

Experience
* Previous admin experience
* Managing high volume of incoming queries
* Being able to resolve queries and work autonomously
