As the Facilities Supervisor you will deliver the full range of property maintenance activities and support any development activity that is required. Supervising one team member, contractors and volunteers, ensuring that standards are kept high and that the team understand and strive for the same exceptional results. The utmost sensitivity to all of our service users with be required. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering a comprehensive facilities maintenance service across all Prospect Hospice sites. Managing relationships with external contractors to deliver timely, budget-conscious outcomes. Leading and motivating a team of facilities staff and volunteers. Supporting Planned Preventative Maintenance programs. Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and maintaining high standards of operational safety. Contributing to refurbishments, events support and disaster recovery plans. This role requires flexibility, including occasional work during evenings and weekends, as well as being on call to meet urgent facilities’ needs. About you: Proven experience in building and grounds maintenance and general practical skills Committed, enthusiastic, and able to use own initiative Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload with competing demands Good interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility and a strong ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with others.
