Water Treatment Engineer - Client Direct - Days - Brand New Commercial Office - City of London- £46,000 + Bonus
Exciting opportunity to work In House / Client Direct Company in City of London. My client is looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to be based in a critical / commercial building in City of London London. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical site (i.e. Bank, Data centre, Blue chip office etc). Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will have experience carrying out water / mechanical duties. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of £46,200, further training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
Log Book Ownership
Chilled Water systems
Cooling tower maintenance
Closed system experience
Water flushing
Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises
Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
Surveys on hot and cold water systems
Basic Plumbing
Repairing pipework and leaks
Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
Carry out general building maintenance
Knowledge of the following; Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination's, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides

Monday to Friday
08:30 - 17:30

£46,000 salary + bonus

Requirements
City and Guilds in Plumbing
City and Guilds in Water Treatment
City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems
Experience working with cooling towers
Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
Fully trained and knowledge
Highly desirable (Not essential)
Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc)
Experience working in a bank / data centre / commercial Office
High Voltage - Experience / Qualification - Current or expired
Previous experience a day and night shift pattern
