Scheduling and rostering of Officers that fall within your remit as either site based or dedicated relief. Daily reconciliation of delivered hours to the customer. Ensure all holiday requests fall within and meet Unitrust process and procedure. Uniform ordering and maintaining of good standards of dress/deportment and appropriate PPE. Manage security and emergency incidents. Reporting in line with customer and Unitrust process. Maintenance, care and replacement of security related equipment. Deliver monthly MMI (Monthly Management Information reports) & SLA presentations to the client (tenants if applicable) monitoring both operational and commercial performance. Ensure the correct and appropriate operation of security systems and procedures. Implementing customer corporate policies and Codes of Practice as directed by the customer lead or Unitrust Operations Manager. Constantly assessing risk/threat and taking appropriate measures to mitigate any potential eventuality. Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and endorse them. In conjunction with the support team, monitor the security officer’s performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal development. Make sure that all security officers are aware of the latest training initiatives and are given the opportunity for both personal development and to improve their skill base. Ensuring team is constantly trained to meet leading industry and Site or contract practices. Maintain accurate and up to date Assignment Instructions and review annually, on all sites that you are responsible for against which all security officers should be assessed, to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood by the Officers. Regularly inspect all administrative quality procedures and endorse them paying particular attention to check call procedures. Monitor and manage the progress of absenteeism, work performance and discipline. Develop & manage security related projects and initiatives in collaboration with key customer management. Person Specification Experience A minimum of 10 years demonstrable experience in the Security industry (Essential). A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrable experience in managing a prestigious and highly demanding contract (Essential). Excellent client facing skills and proven experience (Essential). Proven management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team (Essential). Demonstrable experience in managing complex change management processes. A valid SIA front-line licence (Essential). CCTV/PSS licence (Essential). Driving Licence (minimum 2 years for insurance purpose). An industry recognised qualification (Highly desirable). Proven experience in problem solving and issue resolution. Experience in managing accounts with electronic security systems involvement. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Experience of writing and presenting risk reviews and business cases. Excellent knowledge of operational security software applications or the ability to acquire such knowledge. Able to deal in a professional manner in all stressful situations. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately. Ability to interview, appraise and performance manage individuals. Be able to develop a thorough knowledge of the Company’s core business functions. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure Demonstrable proactive and professional approach to security. Professional and well groomed.
