Main duties of the job
We are now seeking a new Director of Operations for Networked Care. Reporting to the Care Group Director and accountable to the Chief Operating Officer you will be responsible for the operational management and the delivery of our Networked Care Group directorate's performance ensuring that these clinical services meet national and local standards and patient expectations. You will hold day to day responsibility and accountability for the operational management across the care group, including:
Delivery of the service provision for four Directorates, comprising all specialties within Integrated Medicine, Specialist Medicine, Pathology and Pharmacy services, including relationship with Berkshire and Surrey Shared Pathology Service (BSPS)
Managing relationships with the RBFT Community partners, ensuring service provision across the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP)
Trust Lead for the Patient Flow programme
Management of the delivery of key services across all RBFT sites including those in Bracknell, Windsor, West Berkshire Community Hospital, Wokingham Community Hospital and Townlands (Henley).

1. Educated to Master's level in relevant field or equivalent level of management experience
2. Evidence of continuing professional development

3. MBA or relevant post graduate management qualification

4. Substantial recent management experience, at a senior level, in a complex organization
5. Experience of analysing and interpreting information to identify and manage variances in performance and identifying solutions to identified problem/areas for improvement
6. Significant experience & knowledge of business planning techniques and managing business processes
7. Significant experience of preparing and presenting high quality board level reports
8. Understanding of financial reporting mechanisms
9. Experience of and ability to analyse data and information to drive action for improvement
10. Track record of delivering large scale change programmes
11. Significant experience of leading and managing teams through change
12. Experience of developing and providing regular reports to managers and management committees, on progress against activity and other targets so that performance variances can be highlighted
