This role will be permanent and full time. Your normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week working Monday - Friday. The role will involve the day-to-day processing of the ATM rates payments and updating the various analysis needed, recovery of all overpaid rates monies from the relevant councils. Ensuring all refunds received are allocated to the correct customer account within Sage X3. You would also be responsible for completing all postings required in the Sales ledger in Sage X3 along with the bank reconciliation. Duties will include but not limited to: Processing of rates invoices, including the filing and scanning of documents. Recover ATM’s where the deletion charge is deleted, account for difference between the actual receipt and expected receipt. Answering any internal or external queries with regards to the ATM rate changes. Achieving weekly cash collection targets. Building the cash flow forecast for ATM rates payments. Effective and timely updating and reconciliation of sales ledger, including posting to customer accounts. Ensure that work delivered is complete and accurate and that correct procedures are complied with. Assist in other workload stream within the wider treasury team. Who will make the Right Candidate? The ideal candidate will be educated to an A-Level standard or equivalent. Experience of working with an integrated ledger system such as Sage X3 is essential along with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, with the ability to effectively chase the outstanding monies, and ensure that actions are followed up. You should have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. This role requires the ability to work with large data sets so a candidate with a strong attention to detail is advantageous. Experience within the financial services sector is desirable.
