An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department (ED) for a Health Care Assistant.

Main duties of the job
We are a busy working environment with a high turnover of patients which sees and treats children and adults with a range of conditions including minor injuries, major trauma, medical and surgical emergencies and mental health conditions. Clinical working areas include Majors, Minors, See & Treat and Resus. We have a dedicated clinical practice educator to ensure robust support and education as you begin your new journey.
We have full-time vacancies for motivated Health Care Assistants to join the Emergency Department Team. If you enjoy working in a busy demanding environment and are able to work on your own initiative, then this may be the job for you.

Education and Qualification
* Good general standard of education in Mathematics and English at GCSE level or equivalent to Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy
* Care certificate or equivalent
* Relevant course to role (e.g., NVQ level 2)
Experience and Knowledge
* Ability to communicate with a range of different people
* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of working within a team
* Previous experience in a care setting
