People Services Coordinator – AASC ContractLocation: Warrington (with travel across NW, Midlands, and East of England)Contract Type: Full Time, PermanentCompetitive Salary + Benefits
Serco is looking for a dedicated and highly organised People Services Coordinator to support our AASC (Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract). This role is key to delivering a seamless employee experience across our operations, ensuring smooth processes around onboarding, payroll, employee support, and HR systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for HR-related matters for hiring managers within the AASC contract
- Manage onboarding, payroll coordination, offboarding, and employee data changes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain and monitor HR systems to ensure up-to-date and compliant records
- Support and improve processes related to reward and recognition programmes, long service awards, and staff events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HR, IT, Compliance, and Payroll, as well as external agencies
- Produce regular reports and dashboards, analysing trends to support the business
- Ensure compliance with vetting and contractual requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in HR administration or a business support role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal IT systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Yellow Belt accreditation or willingness to work towards it
- DBS clearance (this role is subject to security checks and Home Office approval)
