Corporate Finance Associate – Investment Funds sector
My client is a small/mid cap UK Investment Bank, focused on advising companies in the UK public markets space - both the AIM and the Main Market. They have a City-renowned Investment Funds team, and due to continued growth they are looking to hire a corporate finance associate into the team.

What will you do?
* To support and assist senior executive staff with client account and transaction workload.
* Support senior executive staff in the running of client accounts on a day-to-day basis as well as providing a support role in transaction management and execution.
* Financial analysis including; preparation of detailed, integrated financial models, sensitivity analysis, capital/funding structures
* Assistance with co-ordination and project management of corporate transactions including, but not limited to, drafting, proofing and production of shareholder circulars, prospectuses and information memoranda as well as other related documentation, collation of placing confirmation and account reconciliation’s, liaison with settlement and back office, production of transaction files and other client files
* Assist other team members with liaison with UKLA/The London Stock Exchange/AIM Regulation/the Panel on Takeovers & Mergers with regard to client issues, continuing obligations (Model Code), assisting with clearance of shareholder circulars
* Assistance with preparation of presentations for marketing and other purposes
* Client account day-to-day administration e.g. preparation of routine regulatory announcements, dealing with routine matters on continuing obligations
* Routine client liaison – ensuring incoming communications from clients/other advisers are transferred to appropriate team member for actioning and relaying market/price developments
* To understand and adhere to all relevant compliance and legal rules and regulations in relation to this role
What is required?
* Motivated, enthusiastic and organised self-starter.
* 2i or above from a top university.
* Strong modelling skills.
* Excellent writing and communications skills.
* Strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft Office applications.
* Commitment to task and an attention to detail.
* Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines.
* Good personal skills with the ability to work within a team environment and comfortable interacting at senior management and board level.
* Demonstrable interest in equity capital markets – especially Investment Funds
* Keen to build a career in equity capital market research.
