Temporary Year 1 Class Teacher - Full-Time (Summer Term)
Location: South Leicestershire, near Lutterworth
Contract: Full-time, Easter 2025 - July 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join a small, well-respected primary school near Lutterworth for the summer term. This full-time temporary position has been created to support the school while they recruit for a permanent role following staff changes.
The school is part of a highly regarded and supportive trust and has been rated Good by Ofsted. With well-established routines and strong behaviour strategies, you'll be joining a positive, nurturing environment where children thrive.
The Role:
As the Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:
Teach a class of 30 children, supported by experienced classroom staff.
Deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
Maintain established behaviour strategies and classroom routines.
Work collaboratively with staff across the school and the trust.
Contribute to assessment, reporting, and the wider life of the school.About You:
We're looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential.
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.
Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning.
Can build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
