What You'll Do
1. Support children aged 6-18 in a group-living setting
2. Build strong, therapeutic relationships with young people
3. Assist with emotional and behavioural regulation
4. Help deliver care plans alongside therapeutic carers and managers
5. Work collaboratively with the school and other professionals to meet each child's individual needs
6. Engage in daily routines, education, and recreational activities with the children
7. Participate in a 6-month training programme to transition into a Therapeutic Carer role
Training & Development
We offer a fully paid and supported induction with a 6-month training programme, giving you the tools, understanding, and confidence to work therapeutically. You will receive:
1. A comprehensive training package (worth approx. £3,000-£3,500)
2. Opportunity to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Childcare & Education
3. Ongoing reflective supervision, coaching, and CPD opportunities
4. Fast-tracked progression to Therapeutic Carer roles
Pay & Benefits
1. Starting pay from £12.21 per hour
2. Sleep-in shifts paid additionally (up to £2,500 extra annually)

Who We're Looking For
1. Candidates with some prior experience in childcare, education, or youth work (essential)
2. Understanding of trauma-informed care or willingness to learn
3. Patience, emotional resilience, and a nurturing mindset
4. Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and potential sleep-ins
