The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new ERP system that will replace several outdated legacy systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, finance, operations, and senior leadership. This strategic project will involve overseeing the entire process, ensuring seamless integration with the business operations and enhancing overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the ERP implementation from planning to go-live, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the ERP system meets business needs.
3. Oversee the integration of the new ERP system with existing processes to minimise disruption.
4. Manage relationships with ERP vendors and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Guide the organisation through change, ensuring training and process adaptation for team members.
6. Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure smooth progress.
7. Supervise testing phases to verify the ERP system meets performance and functional requirements.
8. Provide updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Your Skills & Experience:
1. Demonstrated success in delivering ERP or large-scale IT projects.
2. Skilled in developing and integrating custom systems, with insights into their unique challenges.
3. Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
4. Excellent at managing stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively.
5. Experienced in integrating new systems within existing business environments.
6. Familiar with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics, including legacy system migrations.
