We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our engine leasing business. Our engine leasing business is a core aspect of the aftermarket service we provide to our customers, and an exciting opportunity has arisen as the FBP for this team within the Aftermarket Operations organisation.
The Leasing value stream within Civil Aerospace represents approximately £550m of cost per annum (covering financing, logistics, maintenance and storage) and requires a level of accounting between Rolls-Royce Leasing Ltd and Rolls-Royce plc. We are looking for someone to join the team and take a lead in running the finances of this value stream whilst also leading activity to review and improve the way in which we transact our leasing costs across our business.
This role will be highly visible within the Aftermarket Operations business and will have key interfaces to other teams including: Engine Programmes, the Business Development / Asset Financing team, the Financial Controller and FP&A teams, Group Finance and our external auditors.

What you will be doing:
* Business partner for lease engine activity across the engine programmes teams and business development / asset financing team
* Leading a team of two finance analysts
* Responsible for the team’s management and statutory reporting deliverables
* Responsible for the team’s financial planning and analysis deliverables
* Responsible for the team’s completion of Rolls Royce Leasing accounts
Who we are looking for:
* Qualified Accountant
* Experience in periodic reporting, budgeting and forecasting and driving business performance
* Experience of process improvement projects
* Experience of influencing non-finance colleagues
* An understanding of Statutory accounts preparation (desirable)
* Interfacing with and management of external audit (desirable)
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
