Title: Social Value Consultant Title: Social Value Consultant Salary range : £55,000 to £65,000 per annum Location: Remote / Any FNC office. Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. Closing date is 16th May 2025 but we encourage early applications The Social Value Consultant role will design and develop a transformative social value capability across our business. This is a pivotal role where you will shape and embed our Social Value strategy, ensuring alignment, understanding, and measurable outcomes across bids and delivery. This is a unique opportunity to develop a capability from the ground up, creating meaningful impact for the company, our clients, and the communities in which we work. Reporting to the Intel and Strategy Lead, the role offers the potential to evolve into a standalone capability outside of Strategic Pursuits, reflecting its broad strategic and operational remit. Key Responsibilities Development of Frazer-Nash Social Value Organisational and Opportunity Strategies Define and implement Frazer-Nash’s social value strategy, ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives. Provide Social Value leadership for “Gold” bids, ensuring tailored and innovative social value strategies and solutions that maximise our scores. Advise the business on social value initiatives for long-term impact. Act as a key liaison between teams, tailoring strategies to specific program / bid requirements. Provide Capture, Bid and Proposal Social Value Support and Development Guide and mentor the social value team in bid specific social value contributions, including bid writing and development of Social Value solutions, and while supporting their overall professional growth. Support / Lead on social value solutions and content within our proposals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Support bid managers and bid writers by educating them on social value and Frazer-Nash Social Value initiatives, enhancing their ability to embed social value in bids. Develop a library of social value resources, in collaboration with the Sales Operations and Capture and Bid Teams, for future bids. Provide support to international bids by identifying, and developing solutions to meet, equivalent Social Value and Offset requirements. Build the Social Value Capability Establish tools, frameworks, and resources to enable social value integration across all areas of the business. Ensure all teams, including bidding and delivery, are equipped with the knowledge and support to incorporate and measure social value effectively. Develop a team of Social Value managers, consultants, and writers who can support our most strategic deals and programmes. Provide training across the company on Social Value and Frazer-Nash Social Value Strategy and initiatives. Provide Social Value Measurement & Reporting Develop metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness and impact of our social value initiatives – including a dashboard for the Senior Leadership team and Strategic Pursuits team to understand performance across both bids and delivery. Utilise data driven insights from the Sales Operations team to inform continuous improvement. Provide Social Value Leadership Lead as a social value representative, where necessary, representing Frazer-Nash in client and industry engagements to position the company as a leader in this space. Required Skills & Experience Leadership & Ownership : Comfortable overseeing the development of a new capability, with the initiative and drive to navigate challenges and shape outcomes. Strategic Vision & Implementation : Experience developing and executing strategies. Collaboration & Convincing : Ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision, fostering a culture of collective ownership. Communication : Clear and effective communicator, able to distil complex strategies into actionable plans and inspire commitment across all levels of the organisation. Measurement Expertise : Has a focused emphasis on the need for measurement and to understand and identify tools, techniques, and best practices for evaluating and reporting social value outcomes. Sector Knowledge : Awareness of public procurement processes and frameworks (e.g. Social Value Model). Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
