Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for an experienced Packaging and Logistics Technologist to work for a Market leading Manufacturer in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Role: Packaging and Logistics Technologist
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Hours: 37.5 Hours
Key Responsibilities of the Packaging and Logistics Technologist:
Work with European sites to source required information
Pallet and specification development for customer requirements
Accountable for stability and double stacking recommendations
Recommend additional packaging / support solutions as required
Recommend cost / efficiency saving options for current range (logistics & palletisation)
Be the point of contact for EU manufactured products to optimise UK Pallet configuration and support the calculation of the logistics element of the unit cost price.
Reporting all data and improvements through the Quality Management System
Test outbound goods with datalogging software to validate our delivery process, investigate and improve the delivery performance of our product.

Commercially aware and customer focused - passionate about the customer experience balanced with the needs of the business.
Tenacious and energetic problem solver who remains calm under pressure and always maintains a positive attitude.
Good communicator, comfortable and credible with people at all levels, able to create and sustain lasting customer relationships. Able to communicate clearly and persuasively, face to face and over the telephone.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work across different functions and able to convert concept to specification.
