About the Role: We are looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the insurance industry. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of a new claims system that aims to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the new claims system implementation project.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
* Create and manage comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
* Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to key stakeholders and ensuring transparency in project progress.
* Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that system functionality meets business requirements and industry standards.
* Provide training and support to users during the transition to the new claims system.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within the insurance industry, particularly focused on claims management.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, JIRA).
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred
