As part of our Body Build team at our Priden Engineering site in Wisbech, where we produce a stunning range of aluminium Blowers and Tippers supplied into the UK and European agricultural sector, your role will be to build aluminium bodies for tipping trailers and rigids using appropriate MIG, TIG welding and fabrication techniques to a satisfactory standard, following all relevant engineering documents, drawings, and customer specifications to meet defined production targets.

What is the role?
The main duties and responsibilities of an Aluminium Body Builder are to ensure the accurate fabrication of raw materials into appropriate end products to the customer specifications whilst following company quality control procedures. This is delivered through the Welder/Fabricator's ability to accurately interpret complex CAD drawings into relevant end products. You will also ensure that all work is to the relevant Type Approval standards, and that these are upheld at all times.
What will you be doing?
* Check drawings, measurements, and customer specifications prior to building.
* Implement Health and Safety policies.
* Manufacture and assemble quality parts from jigs and fixtures.
* Fabricate products in accordance with Engineering drawings and standards.
This role would suit you if you are:
An experienced Aluminium Welder/Fabricator who would like to work as part of an established team with a stable flow of work. It would suit you if you like working on different projects. Experience of working to drawings and using your skills to fabricate and assemble a kit of parts to that drawing is essential. Relevant engineering or training qualifications are preferred but not essential.
