About us:
C&R Fencing are a family-owned business based in Bristol supplying and installing fencing, gates and access control to a wide variety of customers. Established for over 40 years working with a wide range of clients such as schools, councils, construction contractors, industrial and residential customers.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our company. You will be based in Bristol but will be required to attend sites mainly in the Southwest region. This will be a minimum of 39 hours per week.
About you:
We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and driven individual to join our team as a Contracts Manager. You will possess skills to lead a job from quotation stage through to completion in the most efficient and economical manner.
You will be required to accept responsibility for the successful completion of jobs and supervise subcontractors. To be considered for the role you should be self-motivated, pay strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work on your own initiative.
The successful applicant must:
* Possess relevant qualification, i.e., Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Estimating, etc.
* Have Health and Safety Training: e.g., IOSH, SSSTS, SMSTS CSCS, HNC / HND / or Degree in a relevant subject.
* Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
* Hold a valid driving licence
Things you will need to do as a Contracts Manager:
* Ensure tender pricing is completed within the given timeframe to a professional standard
* Liaise between clients/customers, suppliers and subcontractors, including organising and attending site meetings
* Produce H&S paperwork as required to complete works
* Maintain paperwork to provide breakdown of costs for contracts
* Liaise with other team members regarding work programmes
* Build relationships to encourage repeat business and seek opportunities to network with new customers
* Ensuring work is to a high standard, maintaining a safe working environment following standards and procedures complying with up-to-date codes of practice
