A permanent employment as a trained gas engineer is up for grabs. A valid ACS qualification and a full UK driver's license are essential for the perfect applicant. All postcodes in South London are open for applications, and salaries range from £38,000 to £47,500, depending on experience.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working independently, be flexible during our busier periods, and demonstrate a genuine passion for the industry. A strong team player with a can-do attitude is essential. The role involves working across various locations within the M25 (South).
What you need:
* ACS qualifications
* Clean full UK driving license (up to 3 points acceptable)
* Unvented G3 qualification (desirable)
* CSCS Skilled Trade Card (desirable)
* Asbestos awareness certification
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience
* Own hand tools
* Valid DBS certificate
* Two references from previous employers
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Repairing leaks in copper, plastic pipework, and waste pipes
* Repairing and installing radiators
* Understanding hot and cold water systems
* Working with and understanding unvented hot water systems
* Performing 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems
* Conducting power flushing
* Handling boiler breakdowns, installations, and servicing
