A major language services provider is seeking a Bid Writer to join its expanding team. The role is responsible for supporting complex bids within the public sector and secure new work for the business.
Main Duties include:
* Writing compelling responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications to support the wider bid function
* Fact finding with stakeholders across the business
* Research on customer profiles
* Uploading and dispatching ITTs and bids to portals
* Keeping a broad commercial awareness and business intelligence, and alerting the sales team to any potential opportunities
* Undertaking additional projects and activities to support Bid Management and Business Development as required
Essential experience and skills required:
* 1+ years bid writing experience for public sector tenders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to succeed under pressure to meet tender deadlines
* Proficiency in the MS Office suite
* Self-motivated to ensure every tender you work on is of the highest possible standard
