We are seeking a talented Executive Chef to manage the kitchen of one of Chapel Hill's most respected restaurants. A Carolina-based restaurant group prides itself in the quality of food, service, staff and guests. As the Executive Chef you will be responsible for: Establishing and implementing cost control procedures. Update kitchen manuals of recipes and menu item photos whenever changes are made. Teach, train, and mentor all chefs Responsible for food and labor costs, managing waste, ordering and inventory As the Executive Chef you will need to meet the following qualifications: 3 years as a scratch Mexican culinary chef Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Microsoft, and excel Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all food distribution contacts Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
