Job summary Our county-wide Norfolk & Waveney Perinatal Community Mental Health service are excited to be continuing to expand and are looking to recruit an additional Perinatal Community Team Manager for our East Norfolk patch. This is an opportunity to work within a specialist multi-disciplinary setting, which offers a wide range of MDT clinical specialisms. We are looking for someone who has excellent clinical skills, experience in clinical and operational leadership and a passion for mental health. It is an exciting time to be working in the perinatal world as the services are rapidly expanding, there are opportunities for additional training/ development. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of Consultant Psychiatrists, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Therapies team, Case Managers, Social Workers, Peer Support Workers, Nursery Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Community Team Managers, and a Service Manager specialising in perinatal mental health. In this role you will provide operational leadership to the team. You will also work closely with our Clinical Nurse Specialist and provide clinical support for the team as needed. The Community Team Manager will collaborate with key partners and stakeholders across health, maternity, social care and other sectors to support and drive service development participating in various NHS East of England Perinatal Clinical Network activities, ensuring that key performance targets and national standards are met. Main duties of the job This is an opportunity to work within a specialist multi-disciplinary setting, which offers a wide range of MDT clinical assessments and treatments, specific specialist perinatal therapeutic individual and group interventions. We promote a strong service user led participation culture as well as supporting partners and families. The successful candidate will support individual staff with developing their performance in their clinical work, as well as supporting with safeguarding and quality assurance.
